It’s old news that the last two years have equally sparked new creative heights and halting stops across the music industry. It feels impossible to accurately measure and compare skill with the quality of what’s coming out given everyone’s resources and situations—so, we’re not going to do that! If you’re an artist or musician that didn’t release any music this past year, you’re not alone nor behind. We appreciate you all the same and look forward to what’s to come. But if you did release music in 2021, we’re really excited for you and want to celebrate by sharing some of the Volumes team’s personal favorite local (Athens, GA) projects! To keep your attention, we narrowed it down to five full projects (plus a special recognition).
