Working on developing a new sound, Savannah artist LaShaun Love dropped his latest single "Go! (Teen Titans)" last Saturday. This song has been in progress since the summer of 2016, when he first produced the beat, and has been through about four re-writes ("Which is rare for me," remarks LaShaun).
"My inspiration was the black youth and what me and my friends went through growing up. The pressures to be cool, the lessons we learned from the elders in our hood, and how our childhoods affected the adults we've become," says LaShaun.
With over twenty songs written and almost ready to go, a new album is on the way. Next month, LaShaun will be releasing two new singles, "Stray Dog Strut" and "Cloud Strife" featuring Dad of local Athens collective The YOD.
